Some of you are likely remember this application from its past iterations; after the site had its Zoning By-law Amendment application passed in 2018, it was subsequently appealed by the community to LPAT. In 2021, that appeal was dismissed, which led to the zoning by-law coming into force. Since then, Domicile has sold the property to ML Devco. Subsequently, here is the resubmission of the SPC application under the new ownership.
There are some positive changes: ground floor commercial has been removed; surface parking has been removed and the site will only have underground parking; the rear yard surface parking and driveway has been replaced with private landscaped terraces for the ground-floor units; no rooftop terrace. See Councillor Leiper’s blog post on this with links to the new design.
