Virtual Open House: 1994 Scott/Tweedsmuir/Athlone  – Official Plan Amendment and Rezoning

The City of Ottawa has received applications to amend the Richmond Road/Westboro Secondary Plan and the Zoning By-Law to facilitate the development of three mixed-use buildings (ranging between 29 and 40 storeys), a 4-storey, low-rise building, 477 parking spaces, 91 visitor parking spaces and 780.4 sq.m. of parkland.

Councillor Leiper’s office will be hosting a virtual Open House to provide an opportunity for the applicant team to share information on the proposal and to answer questions that the community may have.

Description : The proposal will consist of four buildings: a 29-storey mixed-use tower (parcel B) accessed from Athlone Avenue; and a 40-storey mixed-use tower (parcel A1), 4-storey residential building (parcel A2), and a 29-storey mixed-use tower, with all three buildings accessed from Tweedsmuir Avenue. The proposal includes 477 parking spaces, 91 visitor parking spaces and 780.4sqm. of parkland. A total of 1,279 bicycle parking spaces are proposed. Access to proposed underground vehicular parking garages building A1 and C are provided along Tweedsmuir Avenue. Access to proposed underground vehicular parking garage for building B is provided along Athlone Avenue.

  1. This developement warrants an open house not an online consultation (controlled by the councillor) with neighbours.
