Convent Property, 114 Richmond Road: site plan and re-zoning; online information session


The City of Ottawa has received Site Plan Control and Zoning By-law Amendment applications for the property at 114 Richmond Road. The applicant wishes to construct 6 new stacked townhome blocks of 126 units and a four storey, lowrise apartment building of 47 units. Parking would be provided by two underground parking garages.

Note that the documentation leaves some question as to the preservation of the nine mature trees lining the western edge of the Nun’s Walk, which connects Richmond Road and the Byron Linear Park path (shown below).
