Open House: Reconstruction of Melbourne, Ravenhill, Kenwood and Greenwood avenues

The City of Ottawa invites you to attend an upcoming public information session to discuss this reconstruction project. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Apr 8, 2025 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Dovercourt Recreation Centre, 411 Dovercourt Avenue.

Through this session, the City of Ottawa will be presenting the latest design drawings, proposed schedule, and construction information related to this integrated renewal project. The information will be on display for your review and staff will be present to answer any questions and receive comments. There will not be a formal presentation at this open house. Please attend at your leisure.

Project summary

What: The renewal of the sewers, watermains, roadways and sidewalks. 

Why: The existing watermain, sewers and road infrastructure has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement to continue to provide the required level of service to your neighbourhood.

When: The preliminary design for the project is complete. Detail design will proceed shortly with project tendering expected in early spring 2026. Construction is anticipated to commence in late spring 2026. 

Where: Ravenhill Avenue E (Churchill Avenue N to Melbourne Avenue); Greenwood Avenue (Melbourne Avenue to Churchill Avenue N); Kenwood Avenue (Golden Avenue to Melbourne Avenue); Melbourne Avenue (Ravenhill Avenue to Greenwood Avenue)

In addition to the above meeting, residents can also participate through viewing and commenting on the online documents to be posted after the event.
