Another new development on Scott – 30 storeys

A new development is planned for 2050, 2046 Scott and 295, 297, 299, 301 Ashton and requires a major zoning by-amendment to move forward. It will be a mixed-use development with commercial ground floor, 353 apartment units, 174 resident parking stalls, 30 visitor parking stalls, and a total of 292 bicycle parking stalls. Find details here in the Development Application (“Dev Apps”)

The applicant seeks to rezone the subject site from TM[103] (Traditional Mainstreet, Exception 103) and R4G (Residential Fourth Density, Subzone G) to TM[xxxx] in which a site-specific exception would permit the addition of an apartment dwelling, high-rise as a permitted use, a reduction in the front yard setback above 15 metres and an increased building height.
