MEC gives back to people and pollinators in Westboro!

Westboro will be getting a little greener this week thanks to a company with deep roots in the community.

On Wednesday morning, volunteers will be buzzing around the entrance to Mountain Equipment Company (MEC), busily transforming a former river stone bed into a garden of native Ontario wildflowers and grasses.

The garden planting will take place on Wednesday, July 9 at 9:00 a.m., at MEC’s store at 366 Richmond Road. All community members — and pollinators — are welcome to watch!

Many thanks to WCA board member Deb Chapman who organized this wonderful initiative!
