The Westboro Community Association (WCA), in collaboration with Maitland Area Pollinator Projects (MAPP) and the David Suzuki Foundation’s Butterflyway Rangers, are working with Mountain Equipment Company (MEC) to install an outdoor exhibit native wildflower pollinator garden at the main entrance to the store. This garden will be designed by Westboro’s Christine Edmond of Tapestry Garden Designs.
The site currently has an abundance of river stones, garden fabric, and small tree stumps that need to be removed. We have the tools. If you have the time on Wednesday, May 21 at 10 AM we could use your help.
For your efforts, you will be eligible for a 15% discount at MEC!
Volunteers enthusiastically responded. Now it’s Mother Nature’s turn!
